Campbells Creek PS has 161 students and is situated on the outskirts of Castlemaine in a semi-suburban location. We are in a hub-annex relationship with Guildford PS. Both sites have excellent facilities with well maintained buildings and grounds. In 2010, we received a multipurpose building through the 'Schools for the 21st Century' federal funding. Our aim is for all local families to choose their local primary school for their child's education. Our programs are designed to cater for the individual needs of our students, including intervention and extension programs. We have a strong 'Learning to Learn' program which encourages our students to be life long learners. Our school values are; Integrity, Effort, Optimism, Responsibility and Respect. Restorative Practices is an integral component of our school wellbeing program. These values and practices support us in developing positive relationships amongst our students, staff, parents and school community members. In 2010, the Campbells Creek School Council met with, and worked in cooperation with the Guildford School Council, showing a commitment to providing the best education for our children at both sites. We have a strong commitment to the integration of ICT. All classrooms and the new building have Interactive Whiteboards. Both sites have an excellent student/computer ratio. This school has 14.7 equivalent full-time staff across both sites: 1 principal, 10.62 teachers and 3.08 Education Support Staff.
