The school is located in the rural community of Whorouly in the Ovens Valley in NE Victoria. Whorouly PS stresses the importance of literacy and numeracy, encouraging the use of technology to support learning. The school provides programs in all domains of VELS. Specialist teachers present the Library, Art, ICT and Italian programs. Whorouly PS places great emphasis and value on being a community school with parents, students, teachers and the community working together to provide a quality education. Many of our school programs could not operate without parent support. Participation of community groups is essential to the success of our classroom and out-of-school programs.
