The school has a strong commitment to our motto 'At Miandetta we care for each other and our world'. Within this environment we offer a broad curriculum with an emphasis on literacy and numeracy. The focus at all times is on best practice teaching and improving learning outcomes for all students. Built in 1970 buildings include an administration block, single-unit networked classrooms, library, computer lab, music room and multipurpose hall. The spacious grounds include an oval and netball/basketball courts. A child care centre is located on-site providing care for pre-school children, before and after school and vacation care. Our Birth to 4 program promotes early learning and transition to school. Students participate in specialist physical education and music lessons, Prep to Year 5 swimming program, school choir, recorder groups, lunch time clubs and various sporting teams.
