This school has been an integral part of the Spreyton Community since 1890 and has continued to grow in size strength and educational performance outcomes over time. In 2009 we have a school population of approximately 450 students with highly skilled staff, excellent resources and proven capacity for improved student learning outcomes, parent/carer/community involvement in our school and contribution to our semi-rural local community. Our Spreyton Primary School Community provides a large range of inclusive programs and educational and support services for students K to 6. These include straight grade and composite classes, specialist music therapy, drama, instrumental, choir, solo voice, perceptual motor, physical education. Also provided are ICT and library programs, student literacy/numeracy development programs, Active After School Sports program and Launching into Learning (birth to age 4 programs). Girls and Relationships Program, Boys Education and Support Program, Learn to Swim program, interschool sporting events and team participation are also important extra-curricular activities. Mersey Leven Child Care Services are available from 3pm to 6pm. Professional Support Services include School Psychologist, Social Worker and Speech and Language Pathologist.
