Goodwood Primary is a smaller inner-city school in the northern suburbs of Hobart. It is situated on the Brooker Highway in the Glenorchy Municipality. The school has recently undergone a building redevelopment resulting in a modern educational facility that incorporates outstanding information technology resources. As well as providing well equipped classrooms with interactive whiteboards, the school has a substantial computer lab, small gymnasium and school hall. The site on which the school is located is expansive with well maintained grounds consisting of a full sized football oval, soccer pitch and a variety of hard surface court areas. The school has a proud tradition of providing an extensive curriculum that includes Physical Education, Music,Languages Other than English, Art and many literacy numeracy and social support programs.
