Gembrook Primary School is committed to providing a quality learning program with an emphasis on Literacy and Numeracy. The comprehensive curriculum, utilises inquiry learning to challenge students to pose questions, problem solve and to think creatively. A feature of the learning program is the integration of technology and sustainability. Students are encouraged to achieve their best in all areas of school life. Students have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities that promote team and leadship skills including swimming, sport, HPV challenge, music, camps and enrichment programs. The buildings provide open and flexible learning spaces that support exemplary teaching and learning. The school buildings are surrounded by large open play areas. The ‘Go for Your Life’ program is actively promoted and students are encouraged to live a healthy lifestyle. A newly constructed outdoor learning centre and vegetable garden provides a focus for environmental education. The school values the home school partnership.
