Briagolong Primary School aims to provide all students with the opportunities to achieve their fullest potential and become successful and valued participants in society. The P - 6 school is situated at the foothills of the Great dividing Range in the small rural township of Briagolong and currently has an enrolment of 83. The school offers a varied curriculum which includes a number of specialist areas. There is a strong partnership between the school and community, parents are welcomed into the school and actively participate as parent helpers in the classroom, on school council and generally around the school. Briagolong Primary School has achieved results at a similar level to other schools given our student cohort in the School Performance summary and working with Melbourne University we will continue to improve student learning in literacy by determining individual student learning levels and the strategy required to extend them. Our transition program from Kindergarten to Prep ensures a smooth progression to school in a safe and stimulating learning environment.
