At Tuntable Creek Public School we provide our students with exceptional learning opportunities in a beautiful, natural environment in the lush rainforests of the NSW North Coast. Our students learn to live and work co-operatively and we base daily school life around our four core values of Tolerance, Unity, Confidence and Kindness. Staff and students have been working hard implementing some practices based on the Positive Behaviour for Learning ethos. We have high expectations of our students and we provide them with quality learning experiences with a focus on literacy, numeracy, the creative arts and technology. The creative arts are a particular focus with expert tuition in dance, drama, music and visual arts. Our students have access to the latest technological equipment and our staff continually update their skills in technology teaching and learning. Tuntable Creek Public School has consistently achieved results above state average in National Testing and we are very proud of our students, our teaching staff and of the many varied and interesting programs that we facilitate at our school. Our students successfully gained positions in the North Coast eGATS (online Gifted and Talented) program in 2010. Our school is a true community school. Everyone is welcomed and valued. Our core focus is our students' educational, social and emotional well-being. We foster a caring and compassionate learning environment through our Virtues Program where we give our students the tools to build resilience and emotional intelligence.
