Students have the opportunity to participate in support, extension and extra curricula activities. The Victorian Essential Learning Standards underpin our curriculum planning with sustainability and environmental education being key drivers. There is a strong emphasis on explicit teaching in Literacy and Numeracy to ensure the development of core skills. A very successful Developmental Curriculum has been implemented at junior levels transitioning into Negotiated Curriculum at senior levels creating autonomous, engaged and self motivated learners.Technology is incorporated into all areas of the curriculum. Classrooms have interactive whiteboards, computers, access to laptops and a computer suite. The school promotes parent and community involvement through a variety of activities including participation in School Council, Parent Club and classroom helpers.
