St Peter's Primary School is a co-educational school located in North Bendigo. Approximately 160 students attend the school which has seven classrooms of mostly composite classes. The school was established in 1972 to assist with growing enrolments in the other parish school, St Killian's. Our core values include respect for the individual, appreciating diversity and learning through our mistakes. Our school facilities are new and fresh and provide an excellent learning environment for all students. We also have an extensive playground area which caters wonderfully for all the playing needs of our students as well as having a variety of lunchtime activities available for students across the school. We offer a specialist music and drama program, which all children are exposed to on a weekly basis. The pastoral care of students is of paramount importance and the use of Restorative Practices is something that we believe strongly in. Many programs such as Buddies, Peer Mediation, MPower, Revved Up and Peer Support combine to allow us to work with our children so that they learn how to be effective in the world and appreciate the differences of individuals and come to celebrate this.
