Buln Buln Primary School was established in 1878 in West Gippsland. We have a performance and development culture focussed on student improvement and high quality teaching practice. We have consistently strived for a high standard for our students in a school with a reputation for its caring environment and a comprehensive curriculum which values care, achievement and respect every day. We have clear goals for focus areas of Literacy, Numeracy, ICT Development and Student Engagement which are supported by strong partnerships between parents and staff. There are comprehensive learning support programs, PE, Music, Library and Social Skills complementing the classroom programs. Chaplaincy supports the welfare needs of students and families There is a high participation of parents in the life of the school through classroom help, school maintenance, fundraising, social activities, school council and parent club. Our growing enrolment is currently at 128. Students enjoy Active After School programs and Outside School Hours Care in an attractive rural setting which accomodates modern flexible learning spaces in our new school which was completed this year. A new hard court area is finished and a multipurpose facility is planned for 2011. Our strong links with the Buln Buln community are captured in our motto "Our children, our community, our future"
