Cudgee Primary School is committed to continuous improvement and achieving excellence in teaching and learning at every level. We have a reputation for high academic achievement in Maths and English and have developed quality learning programs in other curriculum areas including a well established kitchen garden program, specialist music, physical education and art programs. Our programs are designed to cater for the diverse needs of our students. This includes a variety of extension programs, both within and beyond regular classroom. Our staffing EFT is 2.4 [1 principal, 1 teacher 0.4 ES] Cudgee Primary School has a strong commitment to the development and integration of Information and Communication Technologies across the curriculum and has established a learning environment including kitchen garden, outdoor learning area to provide an exciting and flexible learning program designed to meet students' individual needs. These facilities enhance the link with our community through shared use and involvement in program delivery. There is a strong partnership between parents and staff, with a high level of parent participation on school council, classroom helpers and general working bees. Student voice is valued with a junior school council, students in years three to six participating in student mentoring and student-led conferences. Our aim is to provide every student with a rewarding and stimulating education by maximising the advantages of low student numbers to provide a student centred environment responsive to the individual needs of the children.
