Rawson Primary Schoo is committed to providing a caring and challenging learning environment that is both engaging and stimulating for students.We value and encourage respect,perdistence,success and individuality in our students.Our curriculum programs are designed to provide both extension and support for all students. Rawson presently has 55 students with 4 full time teaching staff, 2 part time teacher aides and a part time business manager. A new BER building is on site which will enable the whole school to be in the one building. This will enhance co-operative learning opportunities for all grades and have a positive effect on student learning outcomes. With the finalisation of our new Strategic Plan, our goals for the whole school over the next 4 years have been defined. Teaching staff have and are undertaking specific Professional Development to improve teaching practice in assesment and writing. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has been improved with the purchase of netbooks. Our ICT program is integrated throughout the school, with all students accessing and using computers within the curriculum.
