Laverton P-12 College was established in 2008 through the merger of three schools; Laverton Secondary College, Laverton Primary School and Laverton Plains Primary School. A recently completed major building program has provided the college with new, innovative facilities which are organised into three learning communities: Prep -Year 4, Years 5-8 and Years 9-12. Our programs and practices are designed to reflect our college values of honesty, cooperation, tolerance, diversity, respect, courtesy, trust and fairness. All students are supported to participate in our various leadership programs. The college has 67.15 equivalent full time staff, 4 Principal class, 46.15 teachers and 21 Education Support Staff. In 2010 Laverton P-12 College won the inaugural State Excellence Award for Science and Mathematics Education and we endeavour to provide excellence in all our college programs. We have developed partnerships with Victoria University, local industry and businesses to provide all students with a wide range of individual programs and pathways.Laverton P-12 College is committed to establishing strong partnerships with the local community and our recently completed Community Support Centre will be accessible for community groups to further develop partnerships and learning.
