Our school boasts contemporary facilities including environmental & oral language areas. The BER refurbishment project will provide impressive teaching and learning spaces including breakout rooms, art facility and a gallery space. Our programs support language acquisition through “hands on” learning. Staff liaise with our onsite Kindergarten ensuring a smooth transition to prep. Student needs are well catered for and appropriate resources and programs are developed. Our school community is diverse drawing students from many nationalities. Parent opinion surveys are always very positive. Our core school values of honesty, respect & tolerance provide a platform for multiculturalism and diversity. Teaching and learning is enhanced by substantial student and staff access to multi-media which is fully integrated at all levels. Our professional and hard working staff develop and deliver programs in teams and closely monitor student data to inform their teaching with planned intervention & extension opportunities. Flexible learning groups are utilised and all students are catered for whether they are high performing, at expected level or needing further support. Our student results over the past few years indicate very strong growth and “value add” which reflects positively on the skills and talent of our staff - our students and staff are learning communities. Well defined student leadership roles are in place & students are encouraged to think for themselves and to make their own decisions. Our staff comprised of 14.8 EFT teachers & 6.69 EFT ESO's. Enrolments were 190.
