Craigmore South Junior Primary School encourages all students to become proactive lifelong learners and citizens. The school values of respect, responsibility, collaboration, diversity and integrity are the cornerstone for developing positive relationships with both students and families. We have a strong focus on integrating literacy, numeracy and ICT learning across the curriculum with the school having a number of interactive whiteboards in classrooms. Along with the seven core areas of study, Japanese and health and PE are taught R to 7. Curriculum is tailored to individual students' needs and we offer a range of intervention programs with diagnostic testing and SHIP screening as required. Behaviour management personnel, guidance officers and speech therapists are encouraged to work with classroom teachers to devise and monitor programs. The school has a close relationship with the local YMCA which offers before and after-school care and a range of sporting activities after school.
