Marden Senior College is a specialist senior secondary public education provider serving a vibrant community of senior secondary and adult students. We provide quality pathways to the achievement of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) including relevant and flexible programs in vocational education. Our motto â€˜Your Pathway to Successâ€™ reflects an objective to set students on pathways to employment and further study. Students are near-adults or adults from widely diverse backgrounds and circumstances. Marden students are encouraged to develop a personal focus as independent learners, the self management and collaborative skills to achieve their goals, and leadership qualities. We cater for continuing students, those returning to education and students based at other schools seeking particular subjects and courses. We are proud of our tradition of specialising in senior secondary education within an innovative curriculum and an adult environment. As a senior secondary and adult campus, we value an inclusive culture of respect and support for students, along with a commitment to provide broad subject choices in preparation for future education and employment pathways. Our curriculum, which includes 48 Year 12 subjects, is accessed by post-compulsory students, adult students and by school-based students from other metropolitan colleges and high schools. We are also a registered training organisation (RTO) and deliver up to 15 nationally accredited vocational certificate courses, ranging from multimedia, IT, and business to textile arts. In support of these programs, extensive onsite student services are provided.
