At the rural edge of the busy regional city of Morwell, our school is situated amongst the old and new infrastructure that makes up our community. The school has 142 students and enjoys the benefits of spacious grounds and a large sports oval. Behind the school are recently constructed safe play areas with modern play equipment. A program of continuous improvement has allowed us to continue to develop additional spaces for library, arts, technology and a combination of large and small learning centres across the school. We continue to strive for excellence in learning and teaching at every level through engagement in an extensive range of programs. A strong partnership between parents and staff continues to support a high level of parent participation within the school. The provision of programs has also been enhanced by the use of our school mini bus, an avenue for access and flexibility that is fully utilised. Our school is part of the Morwell Regeneration Project and as a consequence has pooled the school's Building Education Revolution entitlement with two neighbouring primary schools to construct a $4 000 000 Performing Arts Centre on a greenfield site located near the Morwell Leisure Centre. The school community eagerly awaits the commencement of the building program for the new school. 7 classes operate with excellent support staff and programs. All classes are reasonably small, enabling greater individual attention.
