Faith Lutheran College is a Christ-centred school serving Lockyer Valley and neighbouring rural communities by providing holistic quality Christian co-education. Academic development is one of our primary objectives. To help students realise their academic potential, Faith believes that cultivating a love of learning is paramount. The College utilises regional industries to promote real life experiences, engaging students in traineeships and other work based principles of learning. Faith provides students with extensive curriculum offerings, state of the art facilities, specialised teaching and support staff who cater for all learning needs. Through the many and varied opportunities we strive to sow the seeds of personal, social, emotional and spiritual growth. There are currently 32 QSA and VET senior subjects, allowing students to combine traditional subjects with VET qualifications and traineeships or apprenticeships whilst remaining eligible for QCE and/or OP. The Junior program includes the unique subjects of media and aquaponics as well as a range of ACARA, QSA and VET subjects. Where necessary, offerings are tailored to suit each student through individualised learning programs and specialised assistance by Learning Support staff. Additionally, students and their families can work closely with expert staff, such as the Curriculum Coordinator and/or Vocational Education and Training (VET) Coordinator to ensure their current studies help them realise their potential future work and/or study aspirations.
