Rosanna Primary School was established in 1940 on a gently sloping, landscaped site with views across the Yarra River flats. Enrolments are drawn from a wide area bounded by Heidelberg, the Darebin Creek and as far away as Watsonia. The 2010 school enrolment of 305 is likely to remain relatively stable for the next few years. In 2010, the school had 22.5 equivalent fulltime staff: 2 Principal Class, 16.5 teachers and 4.0 education support staff. The school strives to meet the individual needs of students, catering for those who require special assistance while fostering their special talents or interests.
