Since 1909, Rangeville State School has built a reputation for excellent education with a tradition of quality curriculum, improved learning outcomes for all students and the maintenance of high academic achievement and disciplinary standards. Students supported by committed staff and active parent groups have achieved tremendous student results. This is exemplified by RSS being awarded the prestigious 2009 Sports Darling Downs Junior School of the year award. Our artistic endeavours are on display annually in our new hall, but importantly, our key focus remains literacy and numeracy. Rangeville's Prep to Year 7 extra-curriculum program include reading challenges, dance, drama, choirs, instrumental bands, chess, cultural awareness and intra/inter-school sport. Specialist teachers support students with learning difficulties and disabilities. Our school chaplain supports the religious and spiritual needs of our students. Students are welcomed into a community which is inclusive and engenders a sense of belonging. Our students love attending our school and our families enjoy being part of the school community.
