Queenscliff Primary School provides a unique and innovative education in a stimulating and attractive learning environment. The school encourages students to be independent thinkers whoare willing and ready to accept a challenge. An emphasis on students developing deep understandings of what they learn and having the opportunity to demonstrate these understandings is promoted within the schools teaching and learning program. The school’s unique geographical location also provides access to learning environments beyond the classroom and linking closely with student’s real life contexts. Our Outdoor Learning, Environmental Learning Centre and the Kitchen Garden program further enhanced the school’s ability to provide learning beyond the normal classroom setting. Queenscliff Primary School plays an integral role in the local community with strong links forgedwith groups such as the local preschool and the Marine Discovery Centre. The school also has astrong partnership between parents and staff, with parents participating as school councillors andin fund raising and social activities.
