Moonta Area School, located near the top of Yorke Peninsula, is an R to 12 school of about 500 students. We deliver flexible learning that reflects individual needs, and work together to help students achieve their full potential as successful and valued members of their community. As such, we have a focus on lifelong learning, which we achieve through teams of committed professionals and well-resourced and environmentally responsible learning areas. We have a curriculum that is responsive to a changing world and actively foster physical, social and emotional well-being, through a positive outlook, community and industry partnerships and an acknowledgement of our heritage. We have high community involvement, a strong governing council with parent representation, quality student/teacher/parent relationships, and an effective student voice. Programs are tailored to individual student needs and include a broad range of subject choices, including university pathways, Vocational Education and Training (VET) options and school-based apprenticeships or traineeships.
