Lyndoch Primary School’s vision for its students is that they understand their role as global citizens in this rapidly-changing world and that they feel empowered to take control of their destiny as they strive to achieve the very best they can. Our staff’s commitment is to continually improve the quality of teaching and to provide a positive and a safe learning environment. We place a strong focus on collaboration with an emphasis on developing respectful relationships and the acceptance of responsibility. Literacy, numeracy and science are priorities. Specialist teaching areas include Indonesian, physical education and technology. We value 21st Century skills and include interactive whiteboards, digital cameras and pods of computers in each room. A culture of environmental sustainability exists within our school. Our slogan ‘Achieving Together’ reflects the prominent part school members play in its success. We have a supportive and energetic parent body, an active Student Representative Council, a committed group of non-teaching staff which includes a Christian pastoral support worker, and an after-school hours program.
