Booleroo Centre District School is a safe and caring learning centre fostering a culture of achievement, high expectations, care and wellbeing. We aim to meet the needs of all students as well as providing support and flexible learning activities for individual students. Historically, our students have achieved solid academic success with higher-than-average SACE results and a reputation for sporting excellence. Our school is very proud of the recent building programs, which have improved the learning opportunities for students through the refurbishment of home economics facilities, the construction of a gymnasium and a four-classroom block, with a state-of-the-art delivery suite. A trade training centre has been developed through the extension of the technical studies building, provision for building ‘wet trade’ courses and a three-stand shearing facility for agriculture. Sustainability is embedded into the curriculum and the development of significant Agricultural programs and an extensive wetlands area is testimony to that focus. Through a range of co-curricular activities, each student has the opportunity to become a responsible adult ready to take their place vocationally and within our society.
