Playford Primary School is a learning community demonstrating the values of honesty, responsibility, respect, cooperation and a fair go. Values are explicitly taught in conjunction with the keys to success: confidence, getting along, persistence, organisation and resilience. Our school is part of a shared campus with Catherine McAuley Primary School and share a specialist art and design facility, resource centre and a multi-purpose facility. Teachers, leaders and students work collaboratively across the campus. Our site priorities for the next three years are literacy, numeracy, and student and staff wellbeing. All children are involved in developing skills through directed, real leadership opportunities in a comprehensive civics and services program. Students are supported within the classrooms to develop a wide range of skills through drug education, Program Achieve, child protection and anti-harassment programs. We have specialist phyiscal education, health, and arts teachers who take classes once a week. All classes including the resource centre have interactive whiteboards providing opportunities for our staff and students to learn at the forefront of technology.
