Haddon Primary School is located 20 Kilometers west of Ballarat.It is a P-6 school with 216 students. The school has 15.7 equivalent full time staff: 2 Principal Class, 10 teachers and 5 education support staff. We aim to provide a nuturing and creative environment where students are encouraged to develop the values of our school and community. Tolerance, effort,respect , responsibility and caring are the values all members of our community adhere to. We are committed to providing our students with a 21st Century curriculum and learning environment. Our strengths are drawn from high expectations and providing opportunity and access for the dievesity of our learners. At the heart of our learning is the relationships that we develop. In 2010 we were awarded a Schools First grant from the NAB. This was to further develop our robotics program. A program promoted and facitlitated by our community partners. We have had great success in our innovative I.C.T. virtual worlds and look forward to 1:1netbook access for all students in years 3-6 in 2011. This will enhance our digtital learning provision and global learning opportunities. Our Early Learning Centre has been completed this year and will be fully operational in 2011. Our students participate in a variety of speciallist program and students have access to awide variety of extra curricular activities.
