Boronia Heights Primary School strives to improve the learning outcomes for all 505 students by providing a challenging and supportive environment that develops students who are confident and resilient learners and valued members of the community. Core programs in Literacy and Numeracy differentiate the curriculum in order to cater for individual learning needs of a varied range of students. Our Whole School Curriculum is continually being enhance, with staff participating in Profession Learning in order to create best practice and better delivery of teaching. Extension programs and extra-curricula activities in The Arts and Physical Education are implemented to promote excellence in learning and student engagement. The school has 36.5 equivalent full time staff: 3 Principal class, 26 teachers and 7.5 Education Support staff. The school receives strong support from the community with parent participation in classroom programs, fundraising, and, more formally, through the School Council and its Committees and Parent and Community Associations. Our Out Of School Hours program is a very successful operation offering before and after-school care to the community.
