St Mark’s Anglican Community School was established in 1986 by the Anglican Schools Commission to serve the northern suburbs of Perth surrounding its location in Hillarys by providing an affordable co-educational Christian Education in the Anglican tradition. From its humble beginnings, over the past twenty five years St Mark’s has grown steadily with student numbers now at around 1520 from Kindergarten to Year 12. The School’s Mission statement is: “St Mark’s aims to foster growth in character and develop a set of values and skills by teaching and example in a Christian setting, through all the activities of school life.” Values of Respect with Trust, Knowledge, Confidence and Achievement, Responsibility and Community are touchstones upon which the School continues to build a caring community for students, parents and staff. Through all years the School endeavours to provide a rich learning environment that builds on the foundational literacy and numeracy skills needed to thrive in our society.
