Lynbrook Primary School has a school population in excess of 800 children.The school has 47.6 equivalent full time teaching staff, 4 Principal Class and 21 Education Support Staff. This represents a 300% increase over the last 4 years. The community predominately consists of young families in their first or second homes. The community has significant cultural diversity and the school has children from over 40 different cultures. Community infrastructure is limited and the school has become a central location for the community. ESL and children beginning school without any exposure to kindergarten or learning experiences are important factors that influence the school’s educational program. The school is committed to delivering high quality Literacy and Numeracy programs. Catering for individual needs and development is clearly evidenced by outstanding opportunities through a state of the art ICT and 1-1 Laptop Program, Outdoor Education, Environmental Science, Auslan, Music, Performing and Visual Arts and the provision of comprehensive intervention for both lower and higher achievers.
