Parkes Christian School (PCS) is an established and respected entity in the local area. Set in a rural setting on the outskirts of Parkes, NSW, with easy access from surrounding areas, it has provided Christian values-based education to children from Kindergarten to Year 10 since 1982. The school is fully accredited by the NSW Board of Studies, affiliated with Christian Schools Australia, and is a ministry of the Community Baptist Church, Parkes. The School's mission is 'To provide a Christian school which both teaches and models Christian faith'. Its motto is 'Growing up into Christ - Reaching out to the world'. The School's strong academic focus and firm, caring discipline standards contribute to provide quality Christian education, catering for the spiritual, physical and intellectual needs of students. The curriculum is designed to help students develop moral character, a sense of accountability and wisdom that not only prepares students for future study or work, but for life itself. Low student to teacher ratios allow teachers to appropriately address the learning needs of individual students.
