Curriculum access for students is maximised through innovative programs (CMIT, Jolly Phonics, Reading to Learn,MultiLit, Transition to School and Middle Years) while new technologies continue to have a significant impact by creating many opportunities for teaching and learning experiences. The school has interactive whiteboards in all classrooms and staff are embracing these new technologies to support student learning and their own learning.Narromine Public offers an outstanding circus program, produces a biannual cultural spectacular and students actively participate in a number of PSSA sporting knockouts. Many students have represented the region at State sporting events and have been recognised in statewide and regional creative and cultural competitions. We have an active Student Representative Council (SRC) and density of student leadership is actively practised. The staff are committed to ongoing professional learning with the Quality Teaching Framework underpinning curriculum support and planning. All staff development is clearly linked to our school targets and the school management plan. School planning is based on comprehensive, detailed data analysis and this ensures that individual needs of students are catered for.
