St Joseph’s is a co-educational Catholic Primary School in the Bathurst Diocese and is situated in the rural town of Molong, central western New South Wales. Molong has a population of 1 600 people and it supports a diverse range of agriculture and small businesses. St. Joseph’s is a small, country school of four classes offering a relevant and varied curriculum, a dedicated staff and a caring, positive environment. The building facilities are a mix of old and new and playground space is large. The school is well resourced including interactive whiteboards, with internet access, in each classroom. A number of visiting programs and community events are scheduled each year and these complement work undertaken in curriculum areas in class. Our school motto is 'Learning, Understanding, Peace.' We strive to grow in the peace and love of Christ and bring it to others in everyday life and to promote a strong foundation for the development of values, skills and attitudes that enable each child to make a positive contribution to society. St. Joseph’s is distinguished by a great sense of belonging, where each person is valued and where learning is enjoyable.
