Karratha Primary School (1400 km North of Perth) is a public school that provides educational services for children aged 4 to 13. The school has an enrolment of 375 students, 45 Kindergarten, 35 Pre-Primary and 295 Primary students. It operates two Kindergarten, one K/P, one PP and 12 classes from Years 1 to 7. We cater for diverse cultural backgrounds including an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island population of 84 students. Karratha Primary School, opened in 1971, was the first primary school in Karratha. We are proud of our tradition of meeting the educational needs of our students for over three decades, through a strong focus on maintaining standards of academic, behavioural and athletic excellence.
