Steeped in history, Busselton Primary School was first established in the 1850s. Originally located in the centre of town it was recently relocated to the east end of town. The school is nestled between the shores of Geographe Bay, the heritage listed Vasse-Wonnerup Estuary Wetlands and within walking distance of Port Geographe Marina. Busselton Primary is the smallest of the government schools within the Shire of Busselton, providing a positive and welcoming environment to its students. With student numbers in the low 300s its' size is at a level where everyone is known and valued. Being relocated to its current site in 1998 Busselton Primary enjoys the benefits of a new school. Designed in a cluster formation classes have access to shared activity areas. Purpose built classes for Music, Art, Science and Library Resource Centre give options for speciality subjects. Infrastructure for Information, Communication and Technologies allows the school to keep up with this rapidly changing learning resource.
