Located 11km north-east of the Perth CBD Dryandra Primary school provides for the educational and social needs of students from Kindergarten to Year 7 with over 370 students enrolled in 2010. The school has a rich cultural diversity with about 10% of the students being Aboriginal and 55% of the students with a background in a language other than English. The school has excellent facilities including purpose built Kindergarten and Pre-primary centres, Music room, Art room, Computer room, Library resource room, Canteen and Undercover Assembly area. All classrooms are air-conditioned and have networked computers offering a full range of ICT programs. A staff of experienced teachers and education assistants ensure that each student has access to a curriculum that caters for his/her individual educational needs. Staff are highly motivated and enthusiastic and work collaboratively to support school initiatives and student outcomes. At Dryandra we have specialist teachers in Music, Art, Physical Education and Languages (Indonesian).
