Allendale Primary School opened in 1952 and is located adjacent to the North West Coastal Highway in Geraldton. Allendale Primary School offers Primary Education for students from 4 to 13 years old. The majority of students come from the surrounding Wonthella area. Families are from a wide cross section of socio economic backgrounds, predominantly from homes where education is supported. The P & C actively support the school. There is a Getting It Right Literacy specialist who supports student and staff development. Other programs such as Commonwealth Literacy and Numeracy funding, Indigenous Language Speaking Students and Behaviour Management and Discipline assist with the education of the students. 'Strive to Succeed' is inscribed under the school logo and wonderfully summarizes the attitude of the staff and students of Allendale Primary School who have placed particular emphasis on developing Core Values within the school community. The Values program has an emphasis on the four Key Values of Respect, Courtesy, Honesty, and Responsibility. These are the cornerstone of behaviour and general conduct of the school community.
