Westport Primary School is located in the DECS Western Adelaide Region. Our school is well-presented with abundant resources and excellent facilities. All teaching areas have interactive SMARTBoards, ELMO and voice amplification systems. We have a Resource Centre and centres for music, French, ICT, visual arts and science, plus enclosed outdoor learning areas with our Living Systems and Environmental Garden. Westport is one of 30 schools nationally accredited for the Better Buddies program (NSSF and National Coalition Against Bullying). Our Student Voice reflects a commitment to model citizenship to students through their involvement in decision-making and public presentation. Particular programs are Accelerated Reader; Student Learning Support; Aboriginal Studies; Ethelton Entertainers performing arts; environmental education; junior and senior choirs; and percussion. Specialist teaching is in music, drama and French. Our Student Learning Support program provides for students identified through Special Education, Aboriginal Student, ESL, NAPLAN, Early Assistance and Early Intervention entitlements.
