Nestled within the heart of the naturally beautiful and agriculturally-rich Atherton Tablelands, St Joseph's School is an integral part of the Cairns Diocese and the Catholic parish of Atherton. Committed to providing its 190 students from Prep - Year 7 with a well-balanced and relevant education, St Joseph's has at its heart the goals of Catholic Education: to foster a Christian community and a belief in the message of Jesus Christ alongside a balanced and quality education. Alongside traditional subject areas, students are offered a variety of academic, personal and spiritual development opportunities including visiting school performances, curriculum competitions, faith-based events, school camps, swimming program, inter-school sporting competitions, PE and Music specialists, Under 8's Day, Learning Support programs and a formal extra-curricular program in Years 4 - 7.
