Moore Park State School opened in 2004 and proudly serves the community of Moore Park Beach. The school is set near a wetland and the beach of Moore Park. The school caters for Prep to Year 7 students. Students are encouraged to develop academically, physically (sporting), culturally and behaviourally/socially. English, Maths and Science are priority curriculum areas. Children can do a variety of sports and learn to play a musical instrument. Children are also organised in cross grade groups to help develop the social and emotional elements of their character. The school focuses on three main rules: be safe, responsible and respectful. These values are promoted throughout the school both visually and in action. Parents are encouraged to be actively involved in all aspects of school life, from classroom help, attendance at excursions and camps to helping our Parents and Citizens Association.
