The focus of our school is to develop the spirit mind and body of each student by realising our mission of 'Living Catholic Faith' and delivering a holistic education to support the development of lifelong learners based on Christian values. A feature of our school is its split campus. Junior(P-Yr 3) and senior(Yr4-Yr 7) students are housed in separate areas to allow the needs of each group to be met. Sacred Heart School Booval plays an important community role by maintaining close ties with its sister school in Daejong and with the parish. The school supports charitable organisations such as the St Vincent de Paul Society and CARITAS Australia. A student counsellor and a chaplain attend to our students' welfare, and a school-based homework club assists students with any difficulties they may be having. Our extra-curricular activities include Wakakirri, junior and senior choir, a music program, chess club and sports and athletic training. The social climate at Sacred Heart is vibrant and includes events such as the P and F disco, a welcome BBQ , trivia nights, an end-of-year bush dance, grandparents day and open day. Sacred Heart Booval is a very busy and energetic school which boasting a warm and welcoming community which has earned it a reputable name within the Ipswich community.
