Seaspray Primary is a unique small school, located 3 kilometres from the township of Seaspray in a picturesque rural setting overlooking Gippsland's Ninety Mile Beach. Situated on the coast the school benefits from cool sea breezes in summer and a mild climate in winter. Visitors to Seaspray Primary are immediately aware of both the well maintained facilities and the excellent tone of the school. Schooling takes place in well presented buildings set on a spacious 4.5 hectare grounds. The school has large playground areas with a range of stimulating activities for the children to engage with. The school is currently working towards becoming a sustainable school and boasts much loved chickens, vegetable gardens, fruit trees and an environmental awareness. These are part of the daily curriculum, making children more sensitive to their future and the part they have to play. There are strong partnerships between parents, staff and the community with a high level of participation on school council, an active Parents and Friends' Club and a palpable interest within the community.
