Cobains Primary School was established in 1928 and has a proud tradition of achieving excellent results for its students. Cobains Primary school is focused on delivering a comprehensive learning program which promotes successful lifelong learners and active community members. Cobains PS uses whole school approaches to learning, to best meet the needs of the students. We have a reputation for high achievement in numeracy and literacy and our small classes greatly assist students to improve their performance in these core areas of learning. A strong focus and integration of ICT across the curriculum areas also enable students to learn through engaging and purposeful activities. We are proud of our outstanding arts, science and physical education programs that provide a wide range of stimulating experiences for our students. In 2009 the school completed a Self-Evaluation and Review which highlighted our strong performance as a school community and set goals for the 2010-2013 period. In 2011 we will continue to work in providing an inclusive, developmental and stimulating environment that supports our students learning.
